Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan tied the knot with make-up artist Sshura Khan in an intimate ceremony on December 25. The wedding was attended by his son Arhaan Khan, brothers Salman and Sohail Khan, and parents Salim and Salma Khan among others.

Now, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan has talked about Arbaaz’s second marriage and said that it was his son’s decision and he chose not to interfere with it.

In an interview with News18 Showsha, Salim said, ‘They decided to get married. Mere hisaab se, ye koi gunaah nahi hai (according to me, it is not a crime).’

The veteran screenwriter added that Arbaaz had no reason to discuss his decision to remarry with anybody in the family.

He said, ‘I don’t think there was any need for a discussion. He is young, educated, and mature and can make his own decisions. There is no need for my permission. If he is happy, then nothing else matters.’

‘It’s better not to interfere in anyone’s life as it causes problems,’ he added.

Several pictures from the wedding ceremony were shared on social media by Arbaaz Khan. He wrote, ‘In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on! Need all your blessings and good wishes on our special day!’

The wedding ceremony was hosted by Arbaaz’s sister Arpita Khan and brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.

Besides the family, Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Kapoor also joined the celebrations. Singer Harshdeep Kaur performed at the wedding ceremony.

Arbaaz’s previous marriage

Earlier, Arbaaz Khan was married to actor-model Malaika Arora. The couple got divorced in 2017 after being married for almost 19 years.

Malaika is currently in a relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor.
