For the first time after firing incident outside Salman Khan's residence iin Mumbai, Salim Khan has opened up about it.

Two days after shots were fired outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai, Salim Khan spoke up about the incident. Salman’s father gave an interview to India Today after Chief Minister Eknath Shinde paid the actor and his family a visit.

‘Salman to follow his schedule’

After being assured of full security by the chief minister, the veteran writer said that there is nothing to fear. He said that his son Salman will continue with his work schedule as the family has been assured full protection. Salim Khan added that the matter is now with the police.

Salman’s upset father also hit out at the people threatening his son and said that they are ‘jaahil (illiterate)’. “What's there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you'll learn your lesson when we'll kill you)," Salim said.

2 accused held

2 persons identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal have been apprehended by Police in connection with the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence on Sunday. The accused linked to Lawrence Bishnoi gang were arrested from Gujarat on Monday night.

CM Shinde met Salman Khan

On Tuesday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the actor’s residence and assured that the govt will ensure that the gang behind the incident is wiped off.

On professional front, Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’ and Bigg Boss 17. He has recently announced his next film ‘Sikandar’. The actor will also return as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3.
