A  young individual allegedly booked a cab using the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi from Salman Khan's residence to Bandra Police station. He has now been arrested.

The recent firing incident outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments left the superstar's industry friends and fans worried. In the incident that took place on April 14, 2014, the police arrested two accused, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, in Bhuj and brought them to Mumbai for further investigation.

The recent update in the case has now suggested that Mumbai Police have arrested another man from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, who booked a cab under gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's name from Khan's residence to the Bandra Police station.


Youth arrested by Mumbai Crime Brach

According to the latest update by the news agency ANI, Mumbai Crime Branch arrested a 20-year-old man, Rohit, from Ghaziabad. He reportedly booked a cab in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi from Galaxy Apartment to Bandra Police Apartment. Following the arrest, he has now been in the custody of Bandra Police for two days.


"20-year-old accused Rohit Tyagi from Ghaziabad, UP, was arrested. He had booked a car in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi from Galaxy Apartment, the house of actor Salman Khan, to Bandra Police Station. He has been sent to the custody of Bandra Police for two days," ANI quoted a Mumbai Police official as saying.

Salman Khan to record a statement in the case

Police sources also told ANI that the Mumbai Crime Branch will record the statement of the actor as a witness in the case. The source further revealed that when police reached out to the actor because of the firing incident, he expressed dismay at the mishap and concern over his family's security.
