Salman Khan shares warm hug with Govinda, greets Jeetendra at 'Dharamveer 2' trailer launch event

Salman Khan graced the trailer launch event of 'Dharamveer 2' in Mumbai on Saturday. In the videos going viral from the event, the actor is seen captivating the audience with his superstar charm. One particular video that has captured hearts sees Salman sharing a warm hug with his 'Partner' co-star Govinda. In another touching video, the actor was seen hugging veteran star Jeetendra. Other than Salman, Jeetendra and Govinda, prominent attendees at the 'Dharamveer 2' trailer launch included Maharashtra's CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar.

Salman and Govinda's reunion

Salman and Govinda, who co-starred in 2007 film 'Partner', were seen sharing the stage at the trailer launch of 'Dharamveer 2'. At the event, the duo exchange a warm hug, showcasing their shared camaraderie and mutual respect for each other.

At the event, Salman was also asked to share his views on the upcoming film. The actor said that he attended the trailer launch event of the first part, which became a hit, and he cannot wait for the second part to be more succesful. "Thank you. Jai Hind. Jai Maharashtra," he concluded.

About 'Dharamveer 2'

Dharamveer revolves around the life of Anand Dighe, a reputed leader of Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. The second part sees Eknath Shinde, a pivotal figure in the first instalment, as Anand's mentee. The poster of the forthcoming film was launched by the Maharashtra CM along with Bollywood actor Bobby Deol. The film is slated for an August 9 release in Marathi and Hindi.
