Salman Khan was bitten by a snake at his farmhouse in Panvel, Mumbai yesterday. He was rushed to a private hospital for treatment and discharged shortly after.

Even a snake bite can’t keep bhai down for too long. Salman Khan stepped out of his Panvel farmhouse to pose for and with the paparazzi on his 56th birthday. The paps sung ‘Baar baar din ye aaye’ to wish Salman on his special day.

Salman even joked saying, “Saanp kaatne ke baad aisa smile dena bahut difficult hai (It’s very difficult to smile like this after a snake bite)." The actor looked handsome as ever in a leather jacket and corduroy pants.

The actor was bit by a non-venomous snake at his farmhouse in Panvel in the wee hours of Sunday, December 26. Salman was rushed to the Kamothe hospital where doctors reportedly spent 6-7 hours in giving him a medical treatment. He was then discharged from the hospital and was back at the farmhouse.

Salman’s birthday celebrations are in full swing as the who’s who from the industry arrived at his farmhouse to wish the superstar. Manish Paul, Sangeeta Bijlani, Sajid Nadiawala, Bobby Deol, Ibrahim Ali Khan were in attendance among others.

Salman welcomed his birthday by being surrounded by loved ones. The actor adorably held onto his nephews Ahil and Ayat as he cut several cakes.
