Sanya Malhotra has mourned the demise of Suhani Bhatnagar. The actor took to her Instagram stories to pen an emotional note. 

Sanya Malhotra mourns 'Dangal' actor Suhani Bhatnagar's death: 'I can't believe this is real'

Bollywood actor Sanya Malhotra on Sunday condoled the death of Suhani Bhatnagar, who played young Babita Phogat in the Aamir Khan-starrer wrestling drama 'Dangal'. Taking to her Instagram stories, Sanya penned an emotional note as she paid tribute to the late 19-year-old.

Sanya Malhotra condoles Suhani Bhatnagar's death

Malhotra, who played the grown-up version of Babita Phogat in the Nitesh Tiwari-directed movie, remembered Bhatnagar in a post on her Instagram Stories. She wrote, "I can't believe it's real. There was no one quite like our Suhani. She was so special, so talented, and way too young to have left us so soon. Rest in peace, Chotu. My deepest condolences to Pooja, Puneet, and the entire family."

Suhani Bhatnagar dies at 19

Suhani Bhatnagar was suffering from dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory disease that causes skin rash and muscle weakness. She was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on February 7 and passed away on February 16 following medical complications, her family said.

Aamir Khan Productions mourns the loss

Aamir Khan's company, Aamir Khan Productions, took to X on Saturday to mourn the loss. Aamir Khan Productions tweeted, 'We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother, Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl and such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace."
