Kartik Aaryan’s film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, co-starring Kiara Advani, was released in theatres on June 29. On this special occasion, Kartik visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings.

Kartik Aaryan arrived at the temple with his bodyguard. He went inside and prayed in front of the idol with folded hands. The priest wrapped a red chunni around his neck.

The actor thanked everyone while heading back to his car.

Earlier in the day, the actor visited a theatre in Mumbai to see the reaction of the audience who watched his latest release.

‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ marks the reunion of Bollywood’s hit on-screen pair Kartik and Kiara after their blockbuster movie ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The early reviews for the Sameer Vidwans directorial are largely positive.

Netizens are praising Kiara and Kartik’s on-screen chemistry.

Besides Kiara and Kartik, ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’ stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania in pivotal roles.

Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel tweeted on June 29 that ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ sold 51,500 tickets till 10 pm on June 28 across all three major chains - INOX, PVR and Cinepolis - in the country. He dubbed it as ‘one of the best pre-sale for a mid-size film post-pandemic.’
