Shah Rukh Khan has made a massive comeback at box office with the release of three films in a single year. The collective collection of his 3 films has crossed ₹2,500 crore mark.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has proven that he is not only the King Khan of Bollywood but also of comebacks. The ‘Dunki’ actor, who took a four-year-long break after his film ‘Zero’ failed at box office in 2018, has smashed box office records with the collective collection of his films released in 2023.
According to the post shared by trade analyst Ramesh Bala on the social media platform X, Shah Rukh Khan has become the first actor in Indian film industry to mint ₹2,500 crore gross revenue in a single calendar year.

2023 was indeed Shah Rukh Khan’s year. King Khan started the year with the release of ‘Pathaan’ in January. The film was a huge success collecting more than ₹1,050 crore worldwide. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this film marked SRK’s comeback with Deepika Padukone, John Abraham in key roles.

‘Badshah’ continued the box office magic with ‘Jawan’, which was released in September. This film became the highest earning film of the year collecting over ₹764 crore in India and ₹386 crore abroad. Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone and Sanya Malhotra were also part of the film directed by Atlee.

Shah Rukh Khan wrapped up the year with the release of his film ‘Dunki’. Compared to the other two, Rajkumar Hirani directorial did not turn out to be that massive but has managed to earn ₹340 crore worldwide and is moving towards ₹350 crore mark.

Recently, the actor held an #AskSRK session on X to interact with his fans. Shah Rukh Khan expressed gratitude to his fans for showing love towards his film and entertained the fans with his witty answers.
