'Shaitaan' box office collection: Ajay Devgn-R Madhavan's film enters Rs 100 crore club

'Shaitaan', starring Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan, has entered the prestigious Rs 100 crore club. After garnering rave reviews from critics, the film is currently scripting box office glory, witnessing unprecedented response at the ticket window.

'Shaitaan' joins Rs 100 crore club!

'Shaitaan' is the latest film to join the Rs 100 crore club. As per the latest report on Sacnilk.com, it collected around Rs 9.75 crore on its second Sunday. Now, the total collection is estimated to stand at Rs 103.05 crore. Further, the report added that Shaitaan had 37.19% Hindi occupancy on Sunday.

The horror film kick-started its box office run with an impressive debut, minting Rs 17.75 crore on its opening day. With positive word-of-mouth, the numbers soared further, collecting Rs 18.75 crore on the second day. Within just three days, the film managed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark.

About 'Shaitaan'

Shaitaan is the Hindi remake of the 2023 Gujarati horror film 'Vash', written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. The film follows four members of a family whose lives turn upside down when a man with supernatural powers decides to tag along with them during their farmhouse vacation. Ajay Devgn and Jyothika play husband and wife in the film, whereas R Madhavan leaves an indelible mark as a menacing antagonist.
