TV actor Tunisha Sharma's funeral was held in Mumbai on Tuesday. Her former colleagues, close friends, and family paid their last respects to the departed soul. Filmmaker Abbas Alibhai Burmawalla of the Abbas-Mustan duo, who joined the funeral of the late actor, grieved her death.

His forthcoming film ‘3 Monkeys’ will be Tunisha Sharma’s last movie.

Speaking with News18, Abbas said, 'It is a very sad and disappointing news that at such a young age of 20 she took a drastic step without thinking about her mother and others in the family, Today’s generation certain times don’t think much, but taking such a step is never right.'

'We worked with her in the movie and we cannot believe, having known her, that she could take such a step,' he added.

He was also asked about the action taken by Tunisha's family against her ex-boyfriend, ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul’ co-star Sheezan Khan. He said, 'What can her family say? They are going through a tough time. It is not easy for her mother to overcome the pain and we can just pray that God gives the family strength. May her soul rest in peace.'

TV actor Tunisha Sharma died by suicide on the sets of her ongoing show 'Alibaba - Dastaan-e-Kabul' and her former boyfriend Sheezan Khan has been arrested on charges of abetment to suicide.

The probe in the case is underway.
