Actor Varun Dhawan is currently busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Bhediya’, co-starring Kriti Sanon. Recently, the actor revealed that he has worked in films with poor VFX and he was forced to praise it during promotions.

Talking about the quality of VFX in recent films, the actor said, ‘Indian cinema, we are ready for this and we are not going to settle for less. I have starred in a film where the VFX has been cringeworthy, of course during promotions I would have said that—but obviously, no one will criticise it then. There have been cringeworthy moments in VFX, but I haven’t done them. But I can try and work with directors and producers who can bring about that change. So I feel that I am more responsible.’

Coincidentally, Kriti, whose forthcoming film ‘Adipurush’ was criticized for poor visual effects, smiled awkwardly. The release date of ‘Adipurush’ has been postponed and the film is now slated hit the theatres in June next year.

Meanwhile, ‘Bhediya’ will hit big screens on November 25, 2022. In this Amar Kaushik directorial, Varun will be portraying the role of a man who transforms into a werewolf after being attacked by a wolf. Kriti will be seen in the role of Dr Anika in the movie. The film also features Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal in the lead roles.

Varun Dhawan also recently talked about battling vestibular hypofunction disorder that affects the balance of an individual.

On the work front, apart from his horror comedy flick 'Bhediya', he will also be seen in 'Bawaal' alongside Janhvi Kapoor.
