Watch: Aamir Khan celebrates birthday with ex-wife Kiran Rao and ‘Laapataa Ladies’ cast

Aamir Khan celebrated his 59th birthday in a special way. The actor chose to ring in his birthday with the team of his recently released film ‘Laapataa Ladies’. Film’s director Kiran Rao and actors Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Srivastava and his media friends were part of the birthday celebrations.

The ‘Lagaan’ actor cut a cake and thanked everyone for the birthday wishes. Marking the success of his film, he spoke about the positive reviews and called ‘Laapataa Ladies’ one of the best films produced by Aamir Khan productions. He also applauded director Kiran Rao for making such a wonderful film. Promoting his film, ‘Mr Perfectionist’ said that the best gift for him would be if people buy tickets and go to watch his film.

In a recent Instagram live interaction, the superstar recently expressed his wish to promote new talents in Bollywood. The actor spoke about the significance of audience support for films that feature young talent. To his credit, Aamir himself introduced three debutants Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta, and Sparsh Srivastava in ‘Laapataa Ladies’.

On workfront, Aamir Khan, who has been missing from the big screens since his 2022 release ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, has recently announced his next film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, which the actor aims for a Christmas release. However, the actor has been busy with his production house. He was the co-producer in Kiran Rao’s ‘Laapataa Ladies’, which has been receiving great reviews at box office. He is also producing ‘Lahore 1947’ in collaboration with Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi.
