BTS Jimin's 'Who' makes history as 1st K-pop solo song to stay in Billboard 100 for two consecutive weeks

BTS member Jimin has established himself as a successful soloist, with two back-to-back hit studio albums, 'Face' and 'Muse'. Despite keeping busy due to his soldier duties, the singer managed to charm fans with 'Who', the title song from his second EP. His global superstardom is now at an all-time high as he has achieved a new Billboard feat. On August 13, Billboard announced that Jimin’s 'Who' has maintained its position on the Hot 100 chart for the third consecutive week. The song is currently sitting at No. 24. This comes after it debuted at No. 14.

Jimin scripts Billboard history

Jimin's latest solo track, 'Who', has now become the first song by a K-pop soloist to remain steady in the top 25 of the Billboard Hot 100 for its first three weeks in a row, per Soompi. The groovy song also continues to perform impressively on other charts as well. It held onto the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, No. 5 on the Global 200 and No. 16 on the Digital Song Sales chart after holding the top spot for two consecutive weeks. Additionally, the single stayed at No. 20 on the Streaming Songs chart this week.

About 'Who'

Jimin released 'Who' on July 19, 2024. The song is available for viewing on HYBE LABEL'S official YouTube channel. The music video for the track that showcases Jimin's range as an artist has him singing and dancing on neon-lit streets, with eye-catching visuals oozing vintage vibes.

Jimin's 'Muse' consists of seven tracks, including the intro song 'Rebirth'. Other songs in the album are 'Interlude: Showtime', the pre-release track 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band' featuring rapper Loco, 'Slow Dance' featuring Sofia Carson, 'Be Mine', 'Who', and 'Closer Than This'.
