BTS star Park Jimin honoured with special warrior status along with an early promotion

BTS singer Jimin is not just an exceptional music talent, but he has proved himself to be a hard-working soldier as well. The singer who is enlisted in South Korean military, has bagged an early promotion besides a special honour that only a few soldiers manage to get.

The K-pop sensation has reportedly earned the title of Special Warrior. According to reports, only a few of the soldiers enlisted in the South Korean military are bestowed upon this title. The honour is given to only those who showcase exceptional skills during their training period.
This is not all. Park Jimin has also been ranked first in the Fifth Division and given an early promotion. This proves the hard work and dedication that the K-pop idol is putting into his serivce.

More about Jimin’s military enlistment

The ‘Serendipity’ singer enlisted in the military on December 13, 2023 as an active duty soldier along with his bandmate Jungkook. The singer has reportedly completed training at the Korea Combat Training Centre (KCTC), which is considered as one of the toughest training in the South Korean military. Jimin will be discharged from military in June 2025.

On work front, Jimin made his solo debut with the album titled ‘Face’ in 2023 ahead of his enlistment. The album consisted of seven tracks. His title track ‘Like Crazy’ even topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. A year after its release, Jimin’s ‘Like Crazy’ re-peaked at number 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs chart in South Korea, beating NewJeans’ recently released ‘How Sweet’.
