Coldplay has time and again expressed their affection for the globally acclaimed boy band BTS. The English band has also collaborated with the Korean supergroup for their song, 'My Universe'. While performing in Bangkok, Thailand, during the ongoing tour, Chris Martin, the leader of the British band, surprised fans with a rendition of BTS Jin's popular track, 'The Astronaut'. Chris also thanked the Army for attending Coldplay's concert. He said BTS made them so loved by other artists too. An emotional Chris then went on to say that he misses Jin, who is currently serving in the military. "I miss BTS too," he added.

When Chris Martin praised BTS' Jin

Earlier, Martin had demonstrated his love for Jin, applauding his approach towards life. "When we were planning the Buenos Aires shows, it just happened to coincide with Jin having to go into the army in South Korea. We did it because I really love that guy, the way he moves forward without hesitation when he thinks it's right, It's inspiring in my life. I love that man. I love the stuff, the story of it, the weirdness of that relationship and how it’s become so natural. It sort of inspires me across my life to lean into something that might be unusual if it feels right," he said.
