G-Dragon's agency confirms his comeback, rapper to release new music in second half of 2024

G-Dragon is ready for a comeback, months after his name was cleared by the South Korean police in a drug scandal. A spokesperson from the BIGBANG member's company shared his future plans, confirming that the singer is set to return to action in the latter half of 2024. This will mark the singer's solo comeback after 7 years since his last release.

G-Dragon is ready for a comeback!

Big Bang’s G-Dragon is ready to make his much-anticipated comeback in the second half of 2024. On April 3, 2024, a representative from his agency, Galaxy Corporation, confirmed that in the second half of 2024, G-Dragon will be continuing his activities as a solo artist. The spokesperson also added that he will also be continuing his activities in Japan. The agency also clarified that its Japan branch will oversee the singer's foreign activities.

“The Japanese branch predates G-Dragon’s contract with us, but we’re committed to supporting his endeavours there,” the official said, as quoted by Allkpop. “While details regarding Japanese concerts and fan meetings are yet to be finalised, they are part of our broader global strategy,” the representative added.

More about G-Dragon!

G-Dragon signed with Galaxy Corporation to continue his solo activities after parting ways with YG Entertainment in 2023.

While he has not released new music since signing with his new agency, the rapper has been carrying out various activities, including the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in January in Las Vegas. His collaboration with Yoshiki, the leader and drummer of Japan’s legendary rock band, X Japan, is also on the cards.
