A lot has transpired in the last 24 hours in the ongoing feud between HYBE and its subsidiary ADOR’s CEO, Min Hee Jin. The Seoul Court ruled in favour of the ADOR CEO on Thursday, blocking HYBE of exercising its voting rights in the crucial shareholders’ meeting held on Friday. However, the drama continued as HYBE fired two executives of ADOR and replaced them with three new directors.

HYBE fires two ADOR executives

HYBE has dismissed ADOR CEO’s close aides- Deputy CEO Shin and Director Kim from their posts. They were replaced by three new directors from HYBE. However, Min Hee Jin will continue to hold her position, as the court already granted her injunction request. Had the court not ruled in favour of her, she could have been fired at the shareholders’ meeting as HYBE holds 80 per cent shares in ADOR. Following the meeting, Min Hee Jin addressed her second press conference and made several explosive remarks.

Min Hee Jin’s second press conference

Unlike her first conference which was held on April 25, the ADOR CEO was seen better dressed and in a better mood. She smiled during the press conference and took the opportunity to announce NewJeans new music release at year-end and world tour in 2025.

ADOR CEO’s peace offering

“I have been hurt emotionally, but so have they. But I want to rise above. We really poured everything into the fight, so let’s just move on — let’s move on to the next chapter,” the ADOR CEO said. “I really hope to come to an amicable agreement with HYBE,” she added hoping for a truce.

Min Hee Jin refuses to apologise for comments on BTS and other groups

When asked about what she has to say to other K-pop groups like BTS, ILLIT, and LE SSERAFIM, who got hurt due to the power tussle, she replied, “Everyone got hurt, including NewJeans.”
