Ji Chang Wook to turn superhero for upcoming drama 'Twelve'? Here's what we know

Ji Chang Wook, who is currently basking in the success of his recent K-drama 'Welcome to Samdal-ri', is reportedly gearing up for his next project. According to the latest K-media reports, JCW is currently in talks for a new superhero series, 'Twelve', alongside Ma Dong Seok, also known as Don Lee. If the discussion ends on a productive note, the show, directed by Ko Sung Mok, will see Wookie's transition from his soft rom-com era to the action thriller genre.

Ji Chang Wook to turn a superhero?

As per an All K-pop report, Ji Chang Wook has been offered a starring role in the upcoming superhero series 'Twelve'. The show will see Ma Dong Seok play the leader of the heroes group, Naemd Taesan, while the 'Healer' actor has been approached to feature in a key role responsible for defending his country from the evil forces.

Other than Ji Chang Wook, Ma Dong Seok, and director Ko Sung Mok’s involvement, the makers have kept the other details of the drama under wraps. Once Ji Chang Wook onboards the project, it’s expected that the makers may make an official announcement soon. For now, fans have expressed excitement for Ji Chang Wook's collaboration with the Marvel actor.

Ji Chang Wook's upcoming projects

Ji Chang Wook recently starred in 'Welcome to Samdal-ri' alongside Shin Hye Sun. He played the role of a weather forecaster who, despite amassing huge potential, refuses to explore bigger opportunities to protect the people of his small town on Jeju Island.

The actor will also feature in 'My Name is Gabriel', where the cast explores opportunities to experience the lives of people abroad. Filming for the show began in March, and it is expected to premiere in June. The show will also feature Park Bo Gum.
