Jungkook promoted his solo debut album ‘Golden’ on 'The Tonight Show' hosted by Jimmy Fallon. During the show, the K-pop star performed the album's lead track, 'Standing Next To You'.

 

‘The Tonight Show’: BTS' Jungkook makes solo appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show to promote 'Golden'

BTS member Jungkook, who released his highly anticipated solo debut album ‘Golden’ on November 3, made an appearance on 'The Tonight Show' hosted by Jimmy Fallon recently.

During the show, the K-pop star performed the album's lead track, 'Standing Next To You'.

Jungkook also talked about his love for cooking noodles, shared a pizza with Jimmy, and also taught him a dance step. Jungkook even thanked the ARMY for standing by him to make him a ‘global music phenomenon.’

Jimmy took the opportunity to nudge Jungkook for getting 6 million people to see him sleep, which happened during a live stream. Jungkook fell asleep for 45 minutes with the camera turned on. Jungkook blushed but was happy that his fans loved it but then went on to add in Korean,' It was a bit embarrassing'

The episode was broadcast live on November 6.

K-pop singer’s first appearance on the show undoubtedly excited BTS ARMY.

A fan wrote on social media, ‘He is indeed a total performer. Always proud of our golden maknae Jungkook. Thank you for this wonderful and amazing gift to be able to love it, watch, listen to it and made us inspired. We appreciate your hard worked and dedication alot. Your Album Golden is a Masterpiece. We always here to love and support you all the way, same with the other members as well. Keep on streaming (sic).’

‘Golden’ presents an impressive collection of 11 tracks, showcasing collaborations with prominent Western artists, including Shawn Mendes, DJ Snake, Ed Sheeran, Major Lazer, and others.
