Actor Yash, renowned for his role in the 'KGF' series, turned a year older on January 8, but his special day was marked with sorrow as three of his fans were electrocuted, and three others were injured while putting up his banner on an electric pole.

Yash made his way to Karnataka's Gadag district to offer his condolences to the grieving families. He also took the time to visit the hospital and check on the well-being of those injured.

Yash then addressed the media, expressing his disbelief at the extreme actions of some of his fans and emphasizing the importance of responsibility towards one's family. He also disclosed that he had decided not to celebrate his birthdays due to such incidents.

In the days leading up to his birthday, Yash had previously informed his fans of his absence and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering support. He also extended his thanks for their enthusiastic response to the announcement of his next project, 'Toxic.'

Yash's most recent appearance was in director Prashanth Neel's 'KGF: Chapter 2,' which hit theaters in 2022. On December 8, he unveiled his upcoming film, 'Toxic,' in collaboration with National Award-winning director Geetu Mohandas. The production of the film commenced in December, and it is being produced by KVN Productions.

Accompanied by an announcement video, Yash and his team revealed that 'Toxic' is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 10, 2025.
