Member of the House of Lords of the UK Parliament, Lord Rami Ranger has reportedly slammed the BBC over its documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the parliamentarian in a letter to BBC director general Tim Davie has urged the broadcaster to not air the second part of the documentary, as it would affect India-UK ties at a time when both countries are working for a free trade agreement and the UK has an Indian-origin prime minister.

Ranger has also reportedly accused the producer of the documentary of showing a lack of vision, common sense and judgement, reported Hindustan Times.
