CM Yogi Adityanath holds Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur, addresses public grievances

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur on Wednesday morning, addressing public grievances and directing officials to resolve issues promptly.

During the event, people presented their concerns, and the Chief Minister issued instructions for swift redressal.

Since assuming office in 2017, Adityanath has regularly held Janata Darshan programs to ensure quick resolution of citizens' complaints.

A day earlier, on Tuesday, he distributed motorised tricycles to differently-abled individuals in Gorakhpur and visited an exhibition showcasing public welfare schemes by the central and state governments.

During a special event marking eight years of the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, Adityanath expressed gratitude to the people. "Under the leadership of PM Modi, 8 years of service, safety, and good governance have been completed. The double-engine government of UP has completed 8 years. I thank 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh for their support," he stated at a press conference.

Comparing the present government with previous administrations, he highlighted how the state once faced an "identity crisis" and struggled with infrastructure, economy, and law and order. He emphasized that the transformation in Uttar Pradesh reflects how governance changes can bring significant improvements.

Adityanath became Chief Minister in 2017 after the BJP secured an unprecedented 312 out of 403 seats in the assembly elections. In 2022, the party retained power with 255 seats, making him the first CM in Uttar Pradesh’s history to serve two consecutive terms.
