Flax seeds are full of nutrients; consume them the right way to get maximum benefits

Flaxseeds are rich in omega-3 and are packed with numerous health benefits. However, it is important to consume them in the right way to get the most out of them.

Nutritionist Juhi Kapoor suggests roasting the flax seeds and grinding them before consuming. They can be added to rotis, sabzi, salad or bread.

Consuming flax seeds this way provides maximum benefits and helps in better digestion. If you consume the seeds without roasting they remain undigested and exit the body most of the time. They might also get stuck to the walls of our intestines causing digestion problems.
