According to experts, good sleep and your diet play a crucial role in boosting collagen. For those unaware, collagen is a protein naturally produced by the body and it helps maintain elasticity in the skin and slows ageing.

So, here are the food items that can help in the production of collagen:

Bone Broth:

This broth is made by simmering animal bones in water and adding a small amount of vinegar. This process is believed to extract collagen.

Chicken:

Chicken is an essential source of collagen and this is the reason why many collagen supplements are derived from this. Chicken tissues are a rich source of dietary collagen.

Citrus fruits:

Citrus fruits including oranges, grapes, and lemons are a great source of vitamin C and thus are known to boost collagen.

Garlic:
