The winter season is almost over. While we pack our winter attires and bring out our summer clothes, it is also important to boost your immunity and get healthy. As winter fades, here are some superfoods that you should add to your diet to boost immunity and keep away infections.

    5 Superfoods that boost immunity

    Leafy green veggies

Having leafy green vegetables during weather change will help improve your immunity. Leafy greens are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They are essential for bolstering immune defences.

    Citrus fruits

Another must-add to your diet during spring are citrus fruits. Add more oranges, lemons and grapefruits to your diet. These enhance immune function and protect against infections as they are rich in Vitamin C.

    Ginger

Another superfood that should take a big spot on your diet is ginger. Ginger helps in fighting inflammation and prevents infections. Add ginger to your tea for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Ginger also makes a good addition to various curries and Indian dishes.

    Berries

Berries like blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries are not only delicious and juicy but also rich in antioxidants. These antioxidants play a crucial role in fighting oxidative stress and strengthening immune resilience.

    Garlic

Another superfood to add to your diet is garlic. Garlic is well-known for its antimicrobial strength that wards off pathogens and promotes immune well-being

Make sure to be hydrated and take ample rest if you feel under the weather.
