According to a recent study published in the journal Epidemiology, the chances of miscarriages are high during summer compared to any other weather condition.

For the study, researchers looked at the seasonal differences in pregnancy data of more than 6,100 survey participants. They found that pregnant people in North America had a 44 per cent higher risk of early miscarriage in the hotter months.

As per the findings, the risk of miscarriage at any point during the pregnancy was 31 per cent higher in August than in February. High temperatures may be a contributing factor to pregnancy loss, study authors suggested.
