      KKR captain Shreyas begins his day with breathing exercises, stretches, and yoga. These rituals set the tone for a stress-free and focused mindset. The cricketer also does activities like running, swimming, spinning and step-ups. These exercises help him in gaining strength, agility and stamina development.

      Strengthening core, back, and lower body muscles is pivotal in lyer's regimen. Exercise and swimming not only build strength but also refresh the mind.

      What does Shreyas Iyer eat?

      Shreyas Iyer believes in consuming a lot of proteins like chicken, eggs, lentils and cheese. These act as fuel and aid in muscle repair and growth. This is essential when you are playing on the field.

      He also includes brown rice, sweet potatoes and quinoa in his diet. This releases a stead energy, vital for rigorous matches. Shreyas also ensures that he avoids alcohol and sugar. Eliminating junk and alcohol enhances recovery and promotes overall well-being.

      Born and brought up in Mumbai, Shreyas Iyer's talent was spotted by coach Pravin Amre at the Shivaji Park Gymkhana. Amre trained him in his early cricketing days. The cricketer completed his graduation from Ramniranjan Anandilal Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai.
