Sexual chemistry and sex are top priorities of millennials when it comes to relationships. This is not what we are saying but a survey is suggesting so.

According to Dating Diaries: Social Media, Labels and Gen Z 2023 report commissioned by eharmony and conducted by Harris Interactive, millennials place a higher emphasis on sex in relationships compared to Gen Z. However, Gen Z shows a more adventurous and experimental approach towards sexuality.

Laurel House, an eharmony relationship expert, highlighted that Gen Z tends to be more sexually liberated than millennials, who take a slower approach to dating and are more open to exploring their sexuality with fewer limitations.

The survey revealed that 91 per cent of millennials in relationships engage in sexual activity at least once a week, whereas the figure stands at 78 per cent for Gen Z. Additionally, 24 per cent of millennials prioritize sexual chemistry in relationships, while only 19 per cent of Gen Z share the same priority.

Interestingly, the survey also found that Gen Z is more inclined to engage in unprotected sex and displays greater flexibility in the bedroom. Around 26 per cent of Gen Z participants admitted to having unprotected sex, compared to 16 per cent of millennials.

Furthermore, Gen Z showed a higher willingness to explore various sexual positions as compared to millennials.
