Changing sleep patterns and lifestyle habits can majorly affect our sleep and can cause sleep apnea or insomnia.

However, experts suggest sleeping pills should be the last option after nothing works that too with a proper prescription. Meditation is the best option to keep your mind calm and relax. You can also try 'sleep hygiene' in which you have to sleep at a particular time and wake up at the same time.

And, avoid consuming tea or coffee before sleeping. Have light meals so that it doesn't disturb your sleep.

Side effects of sleeping-pill

About 80% of individuals encounter a hangover-like aftermath following the use of sleep medication, characterized by drowsiness, impaired cognitive function, and sensations of dizziness or unsteadiness. These daytime repercussions can significantly impede one's capacity to engage in activities such as driving, working, attending school, and accomplishing routine tasks.
