Indian Cricket Team's series win vs Zimbabwe leaves a big question mark over Shubman Gill

The Indian Cricket Team may have won the T20I series vs Zimbabwe 4-1 but was winning the series the only take away which the team management was looking at from this tour?
After losing the opening game, the Men in Blue bounced back in emphatic fashion under Shubman Gill but let's analyse whether he helped the management get more answers than questions after this trip.
Apart from giving a run to the youngsters, the biggest talking point of the series was his captaincy.
Gill might have ended up as the winning skipper but a couple of his decisions raised a few eyebrows. For starters, he did end the series as the highest run-getter but a strike rate of just over 125 for an opener cannot be justified at all.
Abhishek Sharma scored his maiden international hundred in the 2nd game while opening the batting but once reinforcement in Yashasvi Jaiswal arrived, Gill pushed the centurion down to number 3 but didn't alter his batting spot. Remember, Gill has batted at one down in the past but still asking Abhishek Sharma to take up that role didn't go down with many fans. As a result, Sharma couldn't fire in the next 3 games and the youngster is left with the question, where does he fit in this Indian line-up once the senior players return?
Another decision which felt odd happened in the penultimate game of the series. India needed 18 runs to win off the last 6 overs while Jaiswal needed 17 runs to complete his century. Many thought that Gill will let him try and reach the milestone but on the contrary, he smashed 8 runs off the next 2 balls to reach his fifty.
While one might say that winning the game is more important but India already had the match in their bag.
With Rohit Sharma retired from the shortest format, Hardik Pandya or Suryakumar Yadav are frontrunners to lead the team but do you think that Gill will also be a name in the captaincy hat going forward or will be keep leading a second-string Indian team on tours like these? Comment and let us know.
