Kolkata had a turnaround in the UAE-leg as the Knights have won 3 of their last 4 games. They currently sit on 10 points and need to win last 3 games in order to qualify on their own. KL Rahul's Punjab on the other hand has lost 3 of its last 4 games and another defeat would end their IPL campaign.

Moreover, KKR are way ahead in the head to head battle as well. They have won 19 of the 28 games against Punjab and also beat them in the India leg of the IPL.
