Former India captain Kapil Dev wants Virat Kohli and the BCCI to put aside their differences and let bygones be bygones for the betterment of Indian cricket.

Speaking to The Week magazine, the 1983 World Cup-winning skipper said that both parties should talk to each other and put the country and team before themselves.

Virat Kohli was removed as the ODI captain which hinted towards a rift between him and the BCCI. Virat Kohli dropped a bombshell when he stepped down as the Test skipper after the South Africa series. Responding to that, Kapil Dev said that sometimes you may not get everything that you want but that doesn't mean that you leave the captaincy. 'If Virat has left it because of that, then I do not know what to say,' added Kapil Dev.
