IPL 2022: CSK's full schedule, predicted playing 11, players' list & their salaries here

Defending champion Chennai Super Kings have bought many of their old players back in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. However, they made a notable change in their squad, bringing some youngsters that would inject the much-needed firepower in the absence of old guards.

CSK will begin their title defence against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26th, which will also be the first match of the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League.

CSK Predicted Playing XI

Since CSK have retained the core of the team and bought many players back, the fans may not see many changes in CSK Playing XI in IPL 2022.

Last season's most prolific player Ruturaj Gaikwad is likely to open with New Zealand's Devon Conway. The middle-order will be studded with Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni and Robin Uthappa. While the Under 19 World Cup star Rajvardhan Hangargekar along with Dwayne Bravo and Shivam Dube will play the all-rounders role.

Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar, whom CSK bought for a whopping Rs 14.25 crore, would look to prove his price with both bat and ball. The pace bowling department looked a bit shaky for the defending champions despite having Adam Milne and Chris Jordan in the squad given the two overseas players have not had much effect in the IPL so far.

However, with Mahendra Singh Dhoni being the guiding force behind the stumps, the fortunes of Milne and Jordan may change from IPL 2022.

CSK Playing XI (probables)

Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Moeen Ali, Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni (C&WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Deepak Chahar, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Adam Milne
