IPL 2022: Major boost for RCB, Glenn Maxwell joins the team after his wedding

In a major boost for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, star batter Glenn Maxwell has joined the squad after his wedding. This is good news for all the RCB fans as Maxwell played a very important role in RCB's 2021 campaign with 515 runs with a stunning strike rate of 144.

Maxwell was missing in action as he was busy with his wedding festivities. He tied the knot with Indian-origin girl Vini Raman on 18th March in Australia followed by a traditional Indian wedding in Chennai a week later on 27 March.

The Australian star is expected to be available for Royal Challengers Bangalore from 6th April after finishing his mandatory quarantine at the team hotel in Mumbai. The Aussie star was retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 11 crore before the IPL 2022 Mega Auctions alongside Virat Kohli and Mohd Siraj.
