Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans have had an amazing start as they have won back-to-back matches and are currently undefeated in IPL 2022. Having won their opener against LSG and the second match against DC, GT had chased down the target in the first match while the team defended their target in the second. With Matthew Wade, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, David Miller and Rahul Tewatia, the batting line-up looks stronger. Shubhman Gill scored 84 off 46 in the previous game however, the form of Vijay Shankar is a bit of concern. Mohammed Shami, Lockie Ferguson and Rashid Khan have been brilliant with the ball so far and with Alzarri Joseph also joining the team after completing his quarantine period, Gujarat's bowling unit looks stronger than ever.

After winning their first match, PBKS lost their second against KKR but got back on the winning track after defeating defending champions CSK. PBKS looks strong in every department. Punjab got some power hitters like Shikhar Dhawan, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Odean Smith and Liam Livingstone. However, Punjab's skipper Mayank Agarwal is out of form. Jonny Bairstow has already completed his quarantine and he can replace Jitesh Sharma as a wicket-keeper batsman. The bowling unit looks impressive as the Punjab Kings defended the target of 181 against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the previous game. With Rahul Chahar, Arshdeep Singh, Liam Livingstone and Kagiso Rabada, it'll be interesting to see if Punjab is able to break Gujarat's undefeated streak.
