All-rounders Ben Stokes, Cameron Green & Sam Curran are expected to trigger a bidding war in IPL 2023 mini-auction as 405 players go under the hammer for 87 available spots on December 23.

BCCI released the shortlisted players' list, which includes 273 Indians and 132 foreign players for the auction in Kochi.

England's Test captain Stokes, rising Aussie sensation Green & T20 World Cup's Player of the Tournament Sam Curran are in the highest base price bracket of Rs 2 crore while former England Test captain Joe Root has also put his name up at Rs 1 crore.

Meanwhile, out-of-favour Mayank Agarwal and Manish Pandey at Rs 1 crore base price could also spark a bidding war.

Kolkata Knight Riders have the lowest purse available at Rs 7.2 crore, while Sunrisers Hyderabad, with Rs 42.25 crore and 13 spots available, are expected to go on a buying spree after a poor last season.

Punjab Kings are also likely to come out all guns blazing at the mini-auction with Rs 32.20 crore in their kitty.
