IPL 2023: 'Shouldn't go to a stage where Dhoni gets banned' - Virender Sehwag warns CSK

As Chennai Super Kings bowlers continue to give a lot of extras in their IPL 2023 games, Virender Sehwag sent out a stern warning to CSK bowlers.

After CSK vs RCB game, Viru said it shouldn't go to a stage where Dhoni gets banned and CSK has to take the field without their captain.

'With the kind of knee injury he has, it appears MSD might play only a handful of matches more anyway. He is constantly pushing himself but if his bowlers are bowling so many wides and no-balls, then Dhoni will have to take rest,' Sehwag explained.

Earlier in the tournament, Dhoni was unhappy with his bowlers wfor giving away too many extras in the game vs LSG and had even stated that they can find themselves a new captain if the bowlers didn't stop giving so many extra runs.
