Rafael Nadal who won his 22nd Grand Slam title on Sunday against Norway's Casper Ruud is hoping to compete at the Wimbledon if his new treatment works well for him.

While the 14-time French Open Champion is eager to have a prolonged career, he has been struggling with his ailing left foot. The 36-year-old Spanish ace said that he will only participate if his body allows him to.

While speaking about his future and the foot injury that forced him to skip the US Open last year, the recently crowned Roland Garros winner said, 'I am going to keep working and to try to find a solution and an improvement for what's happening in the foot.'Further, World No. 5 refused to keep going on anesthetic injections.

'Wimbledon is a priority, always has been a priority. If I am able to play with anti-inflammatories, yes; to play with anesthetic injections, no. I don't want to put myself in that position again. Can happen once, but no, is not a philosophy of life that I want to follow', he said.
