The Khap Panchayats have given the govt a week's ultimatum to arrest Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh or they will return to Jantar Mantar along with the protesting wrestlers.

      The Khap Panchayats have given June 9 as the deadline for the govt to arrest Brij Bhushan or the protesting wrestlers along with the farmer leaders will return to Jantar Mantar.

      Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait, speaking on behalf of the Khaps, revealed the decision of the Khaps to the press.

      Tikait said, "The government should hold talks to resolve the matter. He (Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh) should be arrested or on June 9, we will go together along with the protesting wrestlers to Jantar Mantar."

      Tikait also stated the they will hold Panchayats all across the country in support for the wrestlers, who have been demanding justice in the sexual harassment case against former WFI chief Brijbhushan Sharan Singh.
