30% beds in Delhi occupied by outsiders: Satyendar Jain

In an interview with CNN-News18, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said, a substantial number of patients in private hospitals in the city are from outside Delhi. Jain said, in total about 30% of Covid-19 patients are from outside Delhi.

He added that it was a cause for concern for the state govt as they are looking to increase bed capacity as much as possible. Jain said, the state govt doesn't want a situation where if the occupancy increases, there's a crisis.

On the specifics of the third sero survey in Delhi, Jain said, the sero survey was started on September 1 and results will be out in the next 10 days.
