Children will not be amongst the first to receive the Covid-19 vaccine, once it becomes available, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As of now, children have not been tested for any experimental Covid-19 vaccine.The CDC noted that only non-pregnant adults have been included in early clinical trials of the vaccine.

As clinical trials expand in the future, the recommended groups too could change, the CDC adds.
