India's coronavirus tally crossed the 70-lakh mark on Sunday with a spike of over 74,000 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the data released by the union health ministry on Sunday morning. The death count has now gone up to 1,08,334 with 918 fresh fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. On the positive side, the recoveries have surged past the 60 lakh-mark and the recovery rate has soared to 86%. There are 8.6 lakh active cases of infection currently in the country
