'No one can stop Army from patrolling': Rajnath warns China

Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday sent out a clear warning to China that it should not doubt India's determination to safeguard its sovereignty. Speaking in the Rajya Sabha on the LAC situation, the defence minister said that Chinese actions have led to repeated face-offs in the Ladakh region. He added that our forces have given a befitting reply to Chinese provocations in the last few months. Rajnath Singh also informed the House that China has increased its military deployment along the LAC in the past few months and India has also moved large number of troops in counter deployment. While maintaining that India is always interested in solving bilateral disputes through talks, the defence minister stated that Chinese actions on LAC will have an impact on the ties.
