US Presidential Elections 2020: Taylor Swift bats for Biden-Harris

Singer Taylor Swift has announced that she will be voting for Democratic nominee Joe Biden and running mate Senator Kamala Harris in the 2020 elections.

Sharing an image of herself holding cookies with 'Biden Harris 2020' written on it, Swift told V Magazine in an interview about her endorsement.

Swift said that the change the country needs will come with a president who recognizes that people of color deserve to feel safe and represented, that women deserve the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and that the LGBT+ community deserves to be acknowledged and included.

She added that the only way things can be made better is by choosing leaders who are willing to find ways to work through these issues.
