Watch: Streets water-logged after heavy rain in TN

Heavy rainfall has led to severe flooding in parts of Madurai in Tamil Nadu. Streets were waterlogged and normal life was thrown out of gear after 5-hours of continuous heavy rains on Friday. Visuals from West Avani Moola Veethi showed streets under waist deep water and people wading through it. Parts of Telangana also received heavy rainfall on Friday. The weather department has predicted heavy rainfall over isolated places of interior Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, interior Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands over the weekend.
