Apple has introduced its most recent iPad Pro 2022 series which is powered by the company's M2 silicon processor.

The tablets have speedier connectivity owing to WiFi 6E support, and Apple Pencil will have a new "hover" experience.

Apple claims that the M2's performance is up to 15 percent quicker than that of the M1 due to the chipset's eight cores. Additionally, the business asserts that the 10-core GPU would provide up to 35 percent quicker graphics performance.

Apple mentions the presence of a new media engine and an image signal processor. According to the business, these characteristics enable ProRes video recording on an iPad for the first time.

Aas always, the iPad Pro 2022 tablets are available in 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes. The display of the bigger variant features 1,000 nits of full-screen brightness, 1,600 nits of peak HDR brightness, and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The 11-inch iPad Pro has a brightness of 600 nits. Both displays offer ProMotion with an adjustable refresh rate of 120Hz.

The rear cameras appear unchanged, with a 12MP wide sensor and a 10MP ultra-wide sensor. Regarding battery life, Apple claims that both tablet sizes offer up to 10 hours of online surfing and movie playback over WiFi. Apple claims that you will receive up to nine hours of online surfing time via a cellular connection.

The iPad Pro 2022 series is the first Apple product to use WiFi 6E. The brand claims that users will be able to achieve download rates of up to 2.4Gb/s, which is twice as fast as the iPad Pro from the previous generation.

The tablet has a neat trick up its sleeve regarding the second-generation Apple Pencil. The iPad Pro will recognise the accessory when it is within 12mm of the display. Apple claims that this will allow you to examine a preview of any mark you intend to apply prior to applying it. The manufacturer asserts that this will increase accuracy and enhance functionality.

In India, the 11-inch model starts from ₹81,900, while the 12.9-inch version starts from ₹1.12 lakh.
