Vivo V50e: The camera-centric mid-range beast you can’t miss!

Vivo is preparing to launch the V50e in India, a camera-centric smartphone that promises powerful features at an affordable price. With a stunning design, impressive photography capabilities, and solid performance, the V50e is one to watch out for.

Vivo V50e: The camera-centric mid-range beast you can’t miss!

Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V50e in India, and it’s one to watch if you’re a fan of camera-centric smartphones. This device is the successor to last year’s Vivo V40e, and while it retains the focus on powerful camera features, it promises to do so in a more affordable package. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect from the Vivo V50e ahead of its launch.

Vivo V50e: The camera-centric focus continues

If you’re into camera-centric phones, Vivo is a name you already trust. The Vivo V50e continues this tradition, offering powerful photography features at a more budget-friendly price. The phone will come equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. This setup is expected to deliver sharp and detailed shots in good lighting, though we’ll need to see how it performs in low-light conditions before making a final call.

One of the standout features of the Vivo V50e is the Sony Multifocal Pro Portrait mode. This allows users to capture portrait shots at three different focal lengths—1x (26mm), 1.5x (39mm), and 2x (52mm). This added flexibility for portrait shots gives users the freedom to adjust their framing depending on the scene, ensuring you get that perfect shot every time.

Design: Sleek and stunning

As for the design, the Vivo V50e will come in two stunning color variants: Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. The Sapphire Blue option will have an iridescent finish, reminiscent of blue mother-of-pearl, making each phone unique, with no two having the same pattern. The Pearl White variant will feature a flowing, water-like shimmer that shifts dynamically as light changes.

At just 7.3mm thick, the Vivo V50e is incredibly slim and lightweight, making it comfortable to hold. The matte finish on the back resists fingerprints and provides a premium feel, while the quad-curved display adds to the overall sleek aesthetic of the device. Additionally, Vivo has brought back the bottle-opener-style camera module, which first appeared on the V40 Pro and Vivo T3 Ultra. It’s a distinctive feature that still manages to look stylish.

The phone also includes Vivo’s Aura Light feature, which enhances low-light portraits by brightening complexions, ensuring your selfies always look their best.

Expected specifications: What else to expect

According to reports, the Vivo V50e will feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4500 nits peak brightness, ensuring smooth visuals. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 8GB of virtual RAM, the device promises smooth performance. The 5,600mAh battery supports 90W fast charging. AI features like Transcript Assist, Live Call Translation, and Circle to Search are also set to enhance the overall experience.

Where to buy?

The Vivo V50e will be available on Amazon.in, Vivo’s online store, and retail stores after its launch. Keep an eye out for this camera-focused mid-range phone, as it’s shaping up to be a strong contender in its category.
