iQOO Neo 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Vivo V30 Pro: Which one to buy? Compare price and specs

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro leads with top performance and fast charging at INR 37,999. Vivo V30 Pro excels in photography at INR 41,999, while Samsung A55 offers longevity with updates at INR 39,999.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Vivo V30 Pro: Which one to buy? Compare price and specs

If you’re looking to buy a mid-range smartphone, let’s take a look at the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy A55 and the Vivo V3 Pro.

All three smartphones are some of the latest in the market, boasting impressive features and specs. But which should you pick?

Let's explore each phone in detail in our iQOO Neo 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Vivo V30 Pro comparison.

Display: iQOO Neo 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Vivo V30 Pro

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro offers the largest and most responsive display of the three. Its 6.78-inch AMOLED panel boasts a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and reduced motion blur.

The Vivo V30 Pro follows closely with a 6.78-inch AMOLED and 120Hz refresh rate, still providing a fluid visual experience.

While the Samsung Galaxy A55's 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate are decent, it's the smallest of the bunch and therefore less immersive for content viewing and gaming.

Performance: iQOO Neo 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Vivo V30 Pro

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro delivers the fastest performance with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and up to 12GB of RAM. This combination provides ample power for demanding apps and multitasking.

The Vivo V30 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor and 8GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 on the other hand comes with an Exynos 1480 processor and up to 8GB of RAM. It is capable but less powerful compared to the other two options.

Camera: iQOO Neo 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Vivo V30 Pro

The Vivo V30 Pro offers the most versatile camera system with its triple rear setup (50MP main with OIS, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP telephoto) and its high-resolution 50MP front camera. This setup should allow for great flexibility across different shooting scenarios.

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro has a dual rear camera system (50MP main with OIS, 8MP ultrawide), promising good image quality but lacking the telephoto lens of the Vivo.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 also has a triple rear camera system (50MP main with OIS, 12MP ultrawide, 5MP macro), but its lower-resolution front camera isn't as well-suited for selfies as the Vivo V30 Pro.

Battery and Charging: iQOO Neo 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Vivo V30 Pro

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro leads in battery and charging. It features a 5160mAh battery with remarkably fast 120W charging, allowing for quick top-ups.

The Vivo V30 Pro has a 5000mAh battery and 80W fast charging, which, although not as fast as the iQOO, still offers fast-charging speeds.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 also has a 5000mAh battery but supports the slowest charging of the three at 25W.

Pricing: iQOO Neo 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Vivo V30 Pro

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro price starts at Rs 37,999, making it the most competitive.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 price starts at Rs 39,999, placing it slightly higher.

The Vivo V30 Pro price is set at Rs 41,999.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Vivo V30 Pro: Wich one to buy?

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro emerges on top in terms of specs and performance alone.

However, the gaming-focused smartphone falls short in comparison to the Vivo V30 Pro when it comes to its cameras given the latter’s telephoto and ultra-wide lenses.

Therefore if photography is your priority, the Vivo V30 Pro is a better option with the former offering better specs at a slightly higher price.

As for the Samsung Galaxy A55, users will receive up to four generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. This secures the phone for the latest features for years to come.

However, our top pick is the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. It makes a compelling case given the price point at which it is being offered and the power that it packs in.
