Oppo has officially confirmed the upcoming launch of its Oppo A78 4G in India. With the aim to expand its popular A series in the country, Oppo has teased the design of the handset through a Twitter post.

While the exact launch date remains unknown, it shouldn't be long before the mid-range smartphone arrives in India.

Oppo A78 4G Design Teases

The image shared by Oppo showcases the Oppo A78 4G in an appealing sea green colour variant. The design appears to be similar to the one launched in Indonesia recently.

Notably, the phone features dual circular camera cutouts housing a dual rear camera setup, accompanied by an LED flash.

Oppo A78 4G Specifications (leaked)

While the detailed specifications for the Oppo A78 4G in India are yet to be disclosed officially, earlier leaks provide some insight. The smartphone is expected to boast a 6.43-inch full-HD AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz.

Running on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 out-of-the-box, the device is likely to offer a seamless user experience.

Under the hood, the Oppo A78 4G could be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. Leaked information also suggests the possibility of virtually expandable RAM up to 16GB, along with 256GB of inbuilt storage.

Oppo A78 4G Camera and Battery

Camera enthusiasts can expect the Oppo A78 4G to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor at the rear, offering impressive photography capabilities.

Selfies are set to be captured through an 8-megapixel front camera sensor.

Furthermore, the smartphone might house a robust 5,000mAh battery, supporting 67W wired SuperVOOC fast charging. This ensures quick charging capabilities, keeping users powered throughout the day.

Oppo A78 4G Pricing and Availability

The anticipated price of the Oppo A78 4G in India is around ₹20,000, positioning it as a competitive mid-range smartphone.
