The Redmi 12 5G was recently introduced to the Indian market, setting benchmarks as an affordable 5G smartphone. Impressively, on the inaugural day of its release on Amazon India, the device clinched the title of the highest-selling 5G smartphone.

Day 1 Sales: An Overwhelming Response

The Redmi 12 5G not only generated immense excitement but also achieved a unique milestone. Although Xiaomi did not specify the exact count of units moved, they confirmed that the smartphone was sold out within 24 hours on Amazon India. Such an overwhelming response was geographically vast too, with orders spanning over 9500 distinct pin codes throughout the nation.

Affordability Meets Performance

Introduced with a competitive starting price of Rs 11,999, the Redmi 12 5G offers a base model consisting of 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. For those needing more power and space, Xiaomi has crafted two other configurations: the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants, priced at Rs 13,499 and Rs 15,499 respectively.
